1. Acceptance of Terms
By using RedactID, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Service Description
RedactID is a privacy-first web application that allows you to redact sensitive information from ID documents (passports, driver's licenses, etc.). All processing happens entirely in your browser.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the service only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to circumvent usage limits or payment systems
- Not use automated tools to access the service
- Verify the quality of redacted images before sharing them
4. No Warranties
RedactID is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for quality, we cannot guarantee that all sensitive information will be perfectly redacted. Always verify the output before sharing.
5. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of RedactID, including but not limited to imperfect redactions, data loss, or any other issues.
6. Usage Limits
Free users are limited to 1 redaction per day. Paid packs provide additional redactions as specified at purchase time. We reserve the right to modify these limits with notice.
7. Payment and Refunds
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Redaction packs do not expire. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase for unused packs.
8. Privacy
Your use of RedactID is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We never see or store your images.
9. Intellectual Property
RedactID and all related materials are owned by us. You retain all rights to your uploaded and redacted images.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service for any reason, including violation of these terms.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].
